Props and Sleights
Props
All of the props necessary for the
effects previously listed, if you don’t already own them, are readily available
from any reputable magic dealer. You
should always try to shop members of the Magic Dealers Association.
Sleights
If you are unfamiliar with the
sleights mentioned in the previous effects, I strongly recommend Jerry
Mentzer’s wonderful book “Count, Cuts, Moves and Subtlety.” If you do card magic, or want to do card
magic, this is a ‘must have’ book. It
covers a multitude of moves often referred to in purchased magic tricks, but,
just as often never explained.
